      A sad ending to a beautiful earth. Already half the animals are gone, and a third of all the birds are gone in the U.S. Maybe governments and people will get serious when half the humans are gone. Maybe!

        Upvote. I spend a bizarre amount of time pondering that exact question: When does real talk re: human extinction begin? (Hopefully sooner than half the humans are gone!)

      Humans are funny - the way we think we're larger than life. This next century is going to be nutso.
