      I'm really enjoying these "parents being parents in a pandemic" takes. My mom is busy watching Fox news and worrying about economic collapse, soooo they're a fun look at all the different ways different parents react and nurture from afar.

      Children, like dogs, can sense insecurity in the air. Yet, we continue to laugh and play, eat and love. Part of us may be scorched but we survive.

      This is so true. Children are so sensitive it's terrifying how aware they can be without even trying.
