I think they should retire Jeopardy like retiring a jersey of a professional athlete. They can turn it into more of a tribute show and then do a spin off with a different host. It would be good for their business still while being respectful to something and someone so fond to so many people. Hot take???

“cultiver son jardin intérieur” means to tend to your internal garden—to take care of your mind. The garden metaphor is particularly apt: taking care of your mind involves cultivating your curiosity (the seeds), growing your knowledge (the trees), and producing new thoughts (the fruits). On the surface, it’s a repetitive process. You need consistency and patience. But each day tending to your “mind garden” is different: discovering a new learning strategy, having a eureka moment, connecting the dots between two authors, getting involved in a lively conversation with an expert

This!!!! This is exactly what I’ve been wanting - an “address book” of sorts for all of my friends and connections. He give good ideas for things to add for reference in different situations. I have been toying with whether I want a physical version which is what I originally wanted or an online version like he is talking about which would probably be more convenient. I think something like this could be so useful and the fact most of us haven’t done it yet is really the only reason we all still have Facebook right? Just to keep track of birthdays (something not mentioned in the article but I would add to my categories), what our friends are up to in life right now, etc. It would force you to actually talk to them about all of these topics rather than just looking them up, but this could be a way to help sort out the people you actually care enough about to know that info.

“I dare you to learn as much from everyone around you as you possibly can first. Then feel free to read more books.” A dare is a dare! Though I love books and think you can gain significant knowledge from them, there is a lot of truth in the fact that there are people around you that can teach you things you’ll never find in a single book. Utilize the real life sources you have.

A simple read on a simple fact that seems so difficult before you actually begin.
