Brings a level of awareness to the scams and fraud that can be perpetuated by social media, with very real and disturbing consequences. Hopefully this awareness will lead to legislation and the reining in (or better yet shutting down) of the social media sites that have gone too far. New ones that pop up should be subjected to stringent guidelines - much the same way broadcast is regulated.
