Spending an entire week being “terminally online” has provided me with lots of speculation on what life looks like after we emerge from the more visceral threats Covid-19. What does work look like? How do we pay for the accumulation of debt piling up for food and housing while we’re stuck indoors? What’s in the cards for businesses that cater to large groups of people? Do we enact new public safety rules? How do we enforce them? Who enforces them? This article doesn’t speculate on every wild anxiety running through my head, but I thought that it’s predictions about public safety measures sound possible. Wild times.
